 is BEAUTIFUL

Information on
- The Film
- Robert Bresson

From what I know, this is one of Bresson's only films that hasn't been released on DVD or VHS. Very rare.

Lucky for us, someone managed to get the movie, and put it up on Youtube. Lots of thanks her way~

Salcedo and Ziggurat  
I haven't been to Salcedo Market for quite a while now. Spening your summer abroad and having parents who teach on Saturday morning doesn't allow for that sort of thing.

 But today; after a good amount of cajoling yesterday, my brother brought me there~

It seemed smaller, and just about everything they were selling the last time I went there was still being sold.

Another Phoenix Music Video? :|  

Yep THREE OF THEM of the same song~
Lisztomania from their new Album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix~

The fan made one that the band likes more than the official one.
This one was made from clips from Footloose, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and Mannequin
I haven't watched any of those yet, but now I feel that I've got to.



This one was based on the video above.
Difference: It was filmed on a roof in Brooklyn.
How I miss this city.

After watching a few of MJ's performances from here and there. . .

I want him back. ;_;
Never was a huge fan, but for some odd reason I miss the guy. ( ._.) Sigh.

As my brother said, "No special effects, it's just a guy dancing."
Amazing stage presence.

Look What I Found  
I remember going nuts-crazy about Phoenix's album "It's Never Been Like That" back in the summer of '08. Maybe just a few months after my brother's wrote something  about their other  album "United" for some magazine. From what I remember it took up a post-it's worth of space at the bottom of the page.   I began liking "alphabetical" a little later. Ever since then Phoenix has been on and off my playlist.

It's been a year, and the only album I haven't really listened to was the one my brother wrote about. And up until yesterday I hadn't watched a single music video of theirs. A making-the-music-video video but not a music video. 8D

I found :
Funky Squaredance by Phoenix
directed by Roman Coppola

Nine minutes long, but it's great~ If you don't want to go through the first 6 minutes and 30 seconds skip over to 6:40 and just continue from there. It really is great in it's nine minute glory, though~

Apocalypse Approaches  
It's scheduled to take place in a day!

Best of luck to we who are about to begin a new schoolyear~  Especially the college freshmen and seniors.

And I hope those of you who are working are doing well~ I admire you all for getting through without a three-month summer vacation~

 Slept at four in the afternoon again yesterday. And again, woke up at four am today. Light-darkish blue, the humming of an air conditioner and a bright screen are nice at a time like this.
